Choosing the right home inspection company can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet your inspector until after you hire one. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying pricing which can reflect qualifications, education, experience, reporting methods, and their investment in testing equipment and technology.

One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work; a lot of work. We have made a tremendous investment in testing equipment, software and education to provide you with the best possible evaluation of the home you are buying. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. I guarantee that we will give you our very best effort.

What's included with an inspection?

Pricing for the average single family house under 1,000 square feet is only $350. A 1,001 to 2,000 square foot home is just $365, and up to 3,000 square feet is $395. There are additional charges for houses that are over 40 years old, pools, barns, guest houses, etc. due to the additional time required.

Condominium pricing is less due to the limited scope of the inspection. Since Condo owners own the inside of the structure only, we don't inspect the roof, exterior, or other components that are owned by the Home Owners' Association. Condo inspections up to 1,000 square feet are $250, and increase to $275 for a condo up to 2,000 square feet. We do accept credit cards for your convenience.

Our home inspections in San Diego are performed by trained inspectors, and conform to Nationally recognized ASHI standards and the NACHI code of ethics. We use state-of-the-art equipment including Carbon Monoxide detectors, gas leak detectors, moisture meters, laser temperature gauges and Infrared Thermal Imaging. We use this equipment, combined with the latest reporting software, to provide you with the most complete home inspection available.
